Grounds –

Quiet time is from 11pm – 6am.  Please respect quiet hours and your fellow guests. Loud and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.  Failure to comply with these rules will result in being asked to leave and will not be issued a refund.
Pets are only allowed in the campground and must be leashed at all times.  Please clean up after your pet.  NO Pets are allowed in lodging.
WAITING STATUS: In the event a reservation is sent to waiting status, determined on a case-by-case basis by management, the reservation must be used by the end of the current calendar year and will not be available to roll over to the next year.

NOTICE: This property is privately owned.  The guest accepts resort\campground privileges with the understanding that they hereby release Dawt Mill Resort, its officers, and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to their person arising out of their use of the resort\campground facilities, and agrees to indemnify Dawt Mill Resort, its officers, and employees against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to the person, any member of the family, or guest of the registered customer arising out of the use of the resort\campground facilities. Failure to comply with the Dawt Mill Resort Rules and Regulations can result in being asked to vacate the property. By entering the premises or participating in activities at Dawt Mill Resort, you acknowledge and agree that your image, likeness, voice, and/or otherwise recorded. You grant Dawt Mill Resort and its representatives the irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute such recordings for promotional, marketing, advertising, social media, and other lawful business purposes, in any media now known or later developed, with compensation or further notice.

Lodging – 

• Check-In – 3pm 

• Check-Out – 11am

• Lodging guests must check in at the Mill Store upon arrival

• After-hours check-ins require that the remaining balance be paid in full

• Early check-ins must be requested by making contact with the Mill Store. Available at the discretion of the store employee, a requested check-in from 12pm-2pm will require a $25 early check-in fee, no earlier than noon check-in

• Late check-outs must be requested by making contact with the Mill Store before 10am, at the discretion of the store employee. Anything later than noon will be charged a $25 per hour late check-out fee up to 2pm. Anything past 2pm, an additional night’s stay will be charged 

• Please check in with the Mill Store for reservation extension availability before 10am

• All lodging is non-smoking, and no pets are allowed in rooms 

• $100 fee for smoking in rooms – $200 fee for unauthorized pets in the room

Camping – 

Floating – 

• A $5 shuttle fee is required for pets being transported on the Dawt Mill Resort property. Pets transported are the responsibility and liability of the pet owners

• To reimburse the Dawt Mill Resort for rental equipment that is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear, such as tying watercrafts together:

  • The reimbursement for lost equipment will be paid in the amount of the current replacement cost of that equipment

  • Reimbursement for repairs will be estimated by Dawt Mill Resort

• Watercrafts must be returned to the landing at Dawt Mill Resort by the designated times mentioned below, if you and your watercraft have not returned by 30 mins past your arrival time, the Missouri Water Patrol will be notified that you are missing, they may initiate a lost boater search, all costs for the activation of the search will be at your expense, ***In addition to these expenses, Dawt Mill Resort requires a payment of $50 per watercraft for a late fee

• Floaters must return by 7pm Friday & Saturday, 6pm Sunday-Thursday. Times are subject to change during the off-season

• Children (ages 7 and under) are required by MO State Law to wear a life jacket.

• Life vest issued on request, seat cushions are provided

• A $50 fee, plus a retrieval fee, will be charged to any person who floats a rented watercraft past Dawt Mill Resort landing

• NO PETS OR FISHING GEAR IN RAFTS. NO TYING RAFT TOGETHER. NO EXCEPTIONS.

• Check in at the Mill Store at least 30 mins before your departure time; the bus leaves promptly on the hour

• If you miss your departure time, you will be moved to the next hour IF space is available

*All floats are quoted with a specific number of occupants per craft for a one-day float. Dawt Mill Resort staff reserves the right to limit the number of people occupying the watercraft. No refunds for early return. In the case that Dawt Mill Resort Management feels that the river conditions are unsafe to float, Rain Checks or Refunds will be issued for floats only.

     CURRENT REPLACEMENT COST PER ITEM

Under Missouri law, an outfitter is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in the paddlesports activities resulting from the inherent risks of paddlesport activities pursuant to the Revised Statutes of Missouri.  Missouri Chapter RSMo 537.327

Parking – 

• Only park in the corresponding color-coded parking spots

• Each vehicle in your group must have a parking pass displayed at all times

• Place the Parking Pass hanging from your vehicle’s rearview mirror for the duration of your stay

• If there are more than two vehicles in your group, please consider parking in the overflow parking lot

• Refer to the Property Map for appropriate, color-coded parking areas and overflow lots

• Quiet time is from 11pm – 6am
